WC26 Pools ("we", "us", "our") operates the website wc2026pool.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored securely as a hash).
Usage data: We collect data about your predictions, pool memberships, and leaderboard positions to provide the Service.
Payment information: Payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers.
Technical data: We may collect your IP address, browser type, and device information through standard web server logs.
We use your personal information to: provide and operate the Service; manage your account and pool memberships; process payments via Stripe; display your name on leaderboards and pool member lists (visible only to other members of your pool); send service-related communications; and improve and maintain the Service.
Within your pool: Other members can see your name, predictions (after the pool locks), and leaderboard position. Your email address is not shared with other pool members.
Before lock: Your predictions are hidden from other pool members until the pool admin locks predictions or a match kicks off.
We use: Supabase for database hosting and authentication; Stripe for payment processing; and Vercel for website hosting. Each has their own privacy policy governing data they process.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing; and request a portable copy of your data. Contact support@wc2026pool.com to exercise these rights.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Row Level Security (RLS) policies on our database, secure password hashing, and Stripe PCI-DSS compliant payment processing.
We use essential cookies only — specifically authentication session cookies required to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Our Service is hosted on infrastructure located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
